Airsoft – A Sport of Honour and Tactics
Airsoft is a team-based tactical sport where participants use accurate imitations of combat gear – airsoft replicas that fire small plastic BBs. The game is honour-based: every player acknowledges their own hit and leaves the game according to the scenario. This sets airsoft apart from other sports – there is no referee system measuring hits, just trust between the players themselves.
How does airsoft work?
Airsoft games typically take place outdoors in various terrains – forests, urban environments, training grounds. Participants are divided into two or more teams who complete different missions. Common scenarios include capture the flag, defend the base, escort mission and elimination games.
Each scenario has its own rules, objectives and time limits. Teams plan strategy, move under cover and communicate with each other to achieve their objective before the opposition. Airsoft is fast, adrenaline-filled and requires both physical and mental readiness.
Who is airsoft suitable for?
Airsoft is suitable for all enthusiasts from age 13 – though younger players may also participate. Prior experience is not required – our experienced game masters carefully guide all beginners. Equipment is available for rent on-site, so there is no need to invest anything before your first participation.
Airsoft is open to men and women, young and older, those who are physically active and those who prefer a tactical approach. The game is adapted to the group's level and preferences.
Safety in airsoft
Safety is always the top priority in airsoft. All participants must wear safety goggles and a face mask, protecting the eyes and face. Permitted replicas have strict joule limits – N.A.C. airsoft events follow the Estonian Airsoft Association and Naissaar Airsoft safety rules. Firing is only permitted during designated times and in designated areas.
Airsoft BBs are made of soft biodegradable plastic and do not cause serious injuries when protective equipment is used. It is important that all participants follow the rules and fair play is ensured.
Airsoft through public events
The best way to get started with airsoft is to join a public event. Public events are organised events that anyone can register for. Experienced game masters explain everything needed and ensure that beginners feel comfortable and safe.
A public event ticket includes participation and necessary guidance. Rental equipment is available separately. Join our next event and discover the world of airsoft!
